Black Male Project

Inform
The project will provide information about the importance of the male role in the development of the family and the need for man to play an active role in the raising of their children. The project will also assist Black and other males in understanding the impact of psychosocial factors on minimizing prosocial interactions among black males. These activities will include the use of genograms, family trees, eco-maps and family history.

Educate
The project will also provide education about the historical successes of black males including inventions, leaderships efforts, institution building, spiritual influences, civil rights advances and innovations. The project will heavily focus on forms of education that empower, unify and strengthen the black community as a whole. Most importantly, the project will help with career development, family development and community development. The project will collaborate with educational institutions, businesses and community organizations to achieve this goal.

Support
The project will provide support in form of leadership development, coaching, education, workforce development and counseling. Participants in the project will develop a life plan, with goals, and action steps. The project will also connect participants to larger institutions to assist them in reaching their larger aspirations, dreams and purpose in life.
